Nodeology Product Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the following software products developed and distributed by Nodeology:

• Vidgeo
• Site Viewer 360
• Geotagged Media Tools
• Spatial Resource Access Services (SRAS)

This policy applies specifically to information collected by or transmitted to Nodeology through the use of these products.

Nodeology may also resell or distribute software developed by third parties. Third-party software, including GaiaBuilder, is not a Nodeology product and is not covered by this Product Privacy Policy. The privacy and data-handling practices of third-party software are governed by the policies and practices of the applicable software developer or provider.

2. Definitions

For purposes of this policy:

“Customer Data”: means data, content, files, records, geographic or spatial information, images, video, audio, documents, application data, or other information that a customer accesses, submits, stores, displays, or processes using a Nodeology product.

“Personal Information”: means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

“Nodeology Products”: means the Nodeology-developed products identified in Section 1.

“Third-Party Services”: means systems, platforms, APIs, cloud services, data sources, or other services selected or configured by a customer and accessed or used in connection with a Nodeology product.

3. Customer Data Collection

Nodeology Products do not collect, transmit, or store Customer Data on systems operated or controlled by Nodeology. Nodeology Products do not transmit Customer Data to Nodeology.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Customer datasets
• Geographic or spatial data
• Images, video, audio, or other media
• Documents or files
• User-generated content
• Credentials
• Customer application data
• Data accessed from customer-configured systems or services

Customer Data used, displayed, accessed, or processed by Nodeology Products remains within systems controlled by the customer or within Third-Party Services selected and configured by the customer.

4. Personal Information

Nodeology Products do not collect or transmit Personal Information about customer users to Nodeology.

Nodeology Products do not use their functionality to:

• Track individual users
• Monitor user behavior
• Build user profiles
• Identify users
• Collect demographic information
• Collect location information about users
• Collect information for advertising or marketing purposes

5. Telemetry, Analytics, and Tracking

Nodeology Products do not transmit product usage telemetry, analytics, tracking information, crash reports, error reports, diagnostic information, or other product-usage information to Nodeology.

Nodeology Products do not include mechanisms that report customer product usage to Nodeology for purposes such as:

• Behavioral analytics
• Usage profiling
• Advertising
• User tracking
• Product usage analytics
• Marketing analytics

Nodeology does not monitor how individual customers or users use its products.

6. Customer Data Storage and Retention

Nodeology does not store or retain Customer Data as a result of the normal operation of its software products.

Customer Data remains within customer-controlled systems or within Third-Party Services selected by the customer.

Because Nodeology does not collect Customer Data through its products, Nodeology does not maintain customer data repositories, backups, archives, or retention schedules for data processed through those products.

7. Customer-Controlled Environments

Nodeology Products may operate within customer-managed environments or within software platforms and infrastructure selected and controlled by the customer. Depending on the product and customer configuration, these environments may include customer servers, workstations, cloud environments, geographic information systems, content repositories, databases, APIs, or other systems.

Installation or use of a Nodeology Product does not, by itself, provide Nodeology with access to the customer’s data or systems.

Customers remain responsible for the configuration, administration, security, access controls, and privacy practices associated with their own systems and infrastructure.

8. Third-Party Systems and Services

Nodeology Products may interact with Third-Party Services selected or configured by the customer.

Any information exchanged directly between the customer and a Third-Party Service is subject to the privacy, security, and data-handling practices of that third party.

Nodeology does not control the privacy practices of Third-Party Services selected by the customer.

9. Information Provided Directly to Nodeology

This Product Privacy Policy addresses information collected through Nodeology Products and does not govern information that a customer or user voluntarily provides directly to Nodeology outside the operation of those products.

For example, customers may voluntarily provide information to Nodeology in connection with sales inquiries, technical support, implementation services, training, or other business communications. Such information is handled separately from Customer Data processed by Nodeology Products.

10. Data Sharing and Sale

Nodeology does not sell, rent, monetize, or share Customer Data or Personal Information obtained through its software products.

Because Nodeology Products do not transmit Customer Data or Personal Information to Nodeology, Nodeology does not obtain such information through product use for disclosure to advertisers, data brokers, marketing organizations, or other third parties.

11. Third-Party Software Resold by Nodeology

Nodeology may act as a reseller or distributor of software developed and maintained by other companies. Third-party software is not covered by the privacy representations contained in this policy unless expressly stated otherwise.

In particular, GaiaBuilder is third-party software resold by Nodeology and is not developed or owned by Nodeology. The privacy, telemetry, data collection, and data-handling practices applicable to GaiaBuilder are determined by its developer or provider.

Nodeology’s role as a reseller does not constitute a representation that third-party software follows the same privacy practices as Nodeology-developed products.

12. Changes to This Policy

Nodeology may update this Product Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products or privacy practices. If the data-handling practices of a covered Nodeology Product materially change, this policy will be updated accordingly.

The effective date shown at the top of this policy identifies the date of the current version.
